FAQs

Question: Do I need an appointment? How long will it take? Is there a cost?

We do work by appointments which allows us to better serve our clients.  We can estimate the cost to do repair work, but the items in question may not be the only problems with your car.  We do need perform a diagnosis on your vehicle if you have a warning light on or your vehicle requires a repair. There is a diagnosis charge if your vehicle is outside of the New Vehicle Limited Warranty, or if the concern is found not to be a defect in manufacturing.

Question: What is an appointment?

A service appointment is 30 minutes that we have set aside just for you to meet with your dedicated service advisor.  During this drop off time, we will go over the work needed on your vehicle and gather information pertinent to the diagnosis. This is not when we will start the work on your vehicle as the are many variables that impact the time we begin working on your vehicle.

Question: How long will it take to repair my car?

We make every effort to estimate the time it will take to perform the work needed on your vehicle when you drop off for your appointment. There are however many variables on repairs the require diagnosis and/or parts.

Question: How frequently does my car have to be serviced?

Due to the environmental impact and road conditions in CO and our neighboring states we recommend following the “Severe Conditions” maintenance schedules in our maintenance manual. Please refer to the owner/maintenance manual or give us a call with questions.

What should I be checking for in my car to make sure there will not be any problems?

You should follow your recommended maintenance schedule, check the tire pressure, and oil level at least once a month, and pay attention to any warning lights on your dashboard. If any warning lights illuminate, you should call for an appointment for service as soon as possible.

How often should I expect updates about my vehicles’ progress?

Our team pledges to update you twice per day unless you request otherwise. We will do so via your preferred method of contact whether that is a phone call, email, or text.

How do loaner cars work at Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons? *

Due to overwhelming demand, loaner cars are first reserved for customers that have purchased their vehicles from Jaguar Land Rover Flatirons. As one of the benefits of purchasing a vehicle from us, we have promised these customers a loaner vehicle when their car is due for service. Our loaners are limited to what we currently have in our fleet, which may not include a “full size” vehicle. We are typically booked out two weeks on loaner car reservations.
*Please note there is a $2.00 per day charge for loaners as per State of Colorado’s daily rental fee. Effective immediately we are unable to provide a loaner vehicle to clients who have Progressive Insurance as Progressive does not provide primary coverage for the loaners.
