The heart of the Range Rover Sport SVR features a 550hp 5.0-liter supercharged V8 with the capability of altering the Earth’s weather patterns while accelerating from 0-60 mph in 4.5 seconds with a track top speed of 162 mph. Backing the SVR’s hustle is a thunderous exhaust note just slightly taking a pause during shifts from the advance 8-speed ZF transmission.
Exterior enhancements helps keep the SVR cool and planted. These items includes larger air intakes located on the front bumper to increase airflow to feed the intercoolers that would allow to reduce the air charge temperatures from the pressurized air developed from the responsive supercharger. Revised front bumper and rear spoiler not only gives off the SVR sporty intent, will aid in reducing lift and create additional mechanical grip by the way of downforce.
The SVO team also fitted the Range Rover Sport SVR with an Active-Roll Control that works in conjunction with the tuned air suspension. In place of traditional anti-roll bars, the Active-Roll Control (ARC) employs a pair actuators powered by a hydraulic pump to allow the SVR to carve corners flatter and faster.
Featuring on the four corners are a set of Brembo brakes with a massive six-piston calipers up front to quickly clamp down the Range Rover Sport SVR.
The interior features exclusive SVR branded goodness such as aluminum interior trimmed details with the option to lay down an available carbon fiber trim adorn door panels, center console, dashboard and steering-wheel bezel. The seats bolstered with extra lateral support and have been wrapped in luxurious Oxford leather to help you obtain control and maintain comfort during spirited driving.
